Rules

MBGLL Select Teams are following US Lacrosse Level A rules at the 7/8 level and Level B rules at the 5/6 level.  There is no 3-pass rule.  Modified checking is only allowed in the MBGLL 7/8 Select games.

Schedule of games, practices

MBGLL Select teams may change the times/dates of their regularly scheduled games if both teams mutually agree to the switch. 

Some towns are holding practices for the MBGLL Select teams directly after their recreational practice.  This way the girls and coaches are already at the fields.  During the recreational practices they will work on skills and then they can work as a team for a half an hour for their Select practice.

5/6 and 7/8 Select Games

MBGLL will schedule 6 games for the select teams, but the teams can schedule additional games amongst themselves.
